Having lunch with a friend, drinking coffee at the counter, grabbing a sandwich in a deli is not just “consuming”, it’s rather one of the several expressions of the cultural context in which we grew up - or of the one hosting us. That means, talking about food  is not just about food itself: it’s also about people, cities, and life in general. In this self-published zine I approach the topic of food transforming the “internet review” format into a narrative form. I use illustration and collage work to create short comics, and ask artist friends to contribute with their own food experiences. Each issue is dedicated to a different country,  whose visual culture is filtered by the use of collage works made out of everyday graphics as menu, business cards, tickets etc.
